I’ve been busy working on rather dull bread and butter freelance projects, all welcome in the current economic climate, and we’re also hopefully moving at the end of August, from a rather dull village in the middle of rural Suffolk to the centre of Ipswich. OK, it’s only Ipswich, not LA or New York, but we are quite excited to be going to live somewhere with a bit of life, 5 minutes into the centre, 5 minutes from Christchurch Park, theatre, films, bars, restaurants. We are hoping to find some inspiration!
We did an art fair at Colchester with some new ideas, we had decided to try and produce some cards with a bit more ‘brand identity’ for want of better words. We have lots of imagery but we felt we needed to start concentrating on finding a look. Below are some of the images we have come up with, some trying to fit the identity, some just ideas we are playing about with. We took two or three to Colchester and there was enough interest in the new items for us to feel confident in taking them forward and developing more.
